Why You Should Go Into Tightness In Training
Share
When your body hurts or you feel tired or the thing is burning or when literally whatever that thing you think is wrong with you or stopping you is happening
Like if you think your shoulder pain is stopping you. Or you think your elbow pain is stopping you. Or you think your inability to stick to something is stopping you.
WHEN THESE THINGS POP UP IN TRAINING
Keep going
Go through it
Find some way to stay in it
Find some way to keep going through it
Until that thing is no longer there
Quite literally
Do not RESPOND to the pain. To the burning. To the discomfort
Get THROUGH it

Physiologically, lets say your trap is tight and it’s burning and hurting when you’re doing the wall sit holds above - like it feels like you cannot control it. Great - keep going. What will happen is it’ll get more and more tight, it’ll rise more and more, it might start to cramp. Etc etc etc. eventually, if you actually stay in it, it’ll release. It’ll go away. And you’ll now have more access to it
That’s what i mean
Stay in it
And it will dissipate
And now you’ll have more control over it
