Rehab Basics
Brief Overview
The basic purpose of this series is to take you through the exact process I utilize when taking an individual through a rehab. It includes
-a full list of the questions i ask the individual in our initial consult
-why i ask those questions and how to fit it into your own lens
-different “levels” during the process of a rehab and exercise types that will be used as the athlete progresses through those to ensure we’re working on a correct gradient
-what it means to actually be “rehabbed” - fleshing out why most rehab fails and how we put ourselves in the best position possible to allow the individual to understand a rehab means the injury is gone. Period, end of story.
It is designed for the coach that wants to get a very fundamental understanding of the principles that guide rehab, and the athlete that wants to better understand what it means to rehab without simply going off a predetermined sheet of paper they’re handed.
