Why Scar Tissue Isn’t Your Problem

Why Scar Tissue Isn’t Your Problem

Your scar tissue is not just randomly there, and it does not need to “just be gotten rid of”

The body laid it down for a reason

It will take it away when that reason is no longer present

-------------

When you have an injury scar tissue is part of what the body lays down to heal and recover that injury

So there is a mechanism that your system has that, when activated, will lay that tissue down

And yes IT WILL LESSON YOUR RANGE AND MAKE MOVEMENT MORE CRUNCY, STUCK, AND LIMITED

But guess what - THAT’S FOR A REASON

Again:

Scar tissue WILL limit your range and your movement in some way

BUT IT’S FOR A REASON

It is not “just there” because it’s something your doc or PT told you about

It’s there to limit range because that is the part of the process your body is at right now

When it no longer needs to be there, then the body will begin the process of resolving it in full - when the system is no longer getting a signal that it needs to keep it there, it will take it away

So IF you can look at scar tissue not as an annoyance that is in the way of you progressing the way you want

But instead simply take it in as DATA, informing you of how your body is doing and what state it is in…

Then you will be able to adjust what you are doing to work WITH it, instead of fighting AGAINST it

---------------

And i understand it can be annoying. I understand it may be getting in your way of what you want to do. And i understand 99% of those in the health field that you’re probably dealing with are telling you it’s bad and it is the REASON for your issue

It is NOT the reason. It’s a SIDE EFFECT - it’s what is PRODUCED based on how your body is

Change how your body is through your rehab, training, eating, sleeping, etc

And your body will change what it produces - including the scar tissue

But it’s not just an annoyance

It’s not just there for no reason

And it’s not something that is working against you

It’s working FOR you

Use it.
