If your system is efficient you could stick in that BB hold position for lets say 3-5 minutes without anything pulling you off or popping up
For example
Let’s say your wrist starts to tingle or starts to go numb
That means there is something in that area or up or down the chain that is being cut off to some degree that is causing the tingle to take place
Because any feeling or sensation we experience is a side effect of something causing it
Simple enough right
Like if you do not get hit in the thumb with a hammer, then your thumb does not hurt
So going back to the tingle example in the wrist
Let’s say there is a muscle in your forearm that will not turn on - that leads to a muscle next to it that has to take over for that load. Muscle gets bigger in relation to everything else around it. Moves some stuff around, now you have another tissue that when it gets stressed, is up against a nerve and is putting pressure on the nerve. Keep going long enough and then that pressure on the nerve starts to create the tingle sensation to alert you of the pressure on the nerve
So solution for that?
Figure out how to use that tissue or contractile tissue that is not working, so that other muscle does not have to work over time, causing the extra pressure on the nerve
And exactly HOW?
By fatiguing through every possible way you could hold the above position till the one that doesn’t turn on HAS to turn on - and you regain the ability to use it again, tissues re-align and now we don’t get the tingle
Like literally i THINK that’s what happened for me in a lot of these. Cause if we take the deep pushup for example, I used to get a lot of tingle or lose sensation in the wrist while doing it. Don’t anymore and it’s like it’s because the actual physical tissue is better aligned and so nothing is putting pressure on anything else that would cause those symptoms to appear
Pretty cool - system provides, through the sensation, exactly what needs to be corrected for stuff to flow through cleanly
(If system is fully efficient, will be able to move body exactly the way you want in the throw above, leading to ability to produce maximal force actually into the ball vs effort being lost and not going directly into it - at least that’s the idea)
