Why I Don't Get MRI’s

When I had an issue with my back and wrist a couple years back, there's a reason I never went to see a doctor to get it checked out. It’s because I have confidence in what we do.
In those instances where I was in pain I stopped, and I was like, “No, I don't need to go. I know what I'm going to do. I know how I'm going to handle this.”
That's what happens when you actually understand how the body functions and operates. You understand how to listen to sensations that your body gives you. You understand how to use pain that your body gives you— not to try to fight against it, but to use it to work with it.
It gives you the ability to actually understand what you need to do, what you need to provide your body, for it to get better, and for it to feel better, and for it to heal.
It gives you the ability to take the steps necessary to start repairing yourself immediately instead of just taking a bunch of random actions that may or may not help you in the long run.
When you have that, you don't have to go around and be like, “'Oh well, do I need to do soft tissue? Do I need to cup? Do I need to scrape? Do I need to needle? Do I need to go see a chiro?' Do I need to go get PRP? All that goes away because you know what you can create. Through what you do. And so the doubt goes away, knowing very simply you can handle it.
