What Our Coaches Will Never Say To You

We don't have things that are off limits in our training because we don't want things that you're going to ask yourself to do in sport or life to be so extreme that they seem off limits to you.
So think about this. If you're working with somebody and they look at a six-foot single leg depth drop as: “That's terrible and you should never, ever, ever, ever, ever do that.” By that same token, that same person can look at something like an Anthony Edwards dunk or a 105 mile per hour fastball and look at that as extreme and be like: “You should never, ever, ever, ever do that.” Because of the risk. So understand within our training we're not going to throw you into things that you're not prepared for that or that you're not ready for. But at the same time, we don't put a cap on the top end of what you can do.
We're never going to stop you and be like: “Oh, you should not try to do this.” One of our athletes recently was like, “I'm preparing to throw in-game six to seven days a week if needed.” We're not going to be like: “Oh, no, you shouldn't do that because that's bad for you.”
We're going to be like, great, let's prepare for that because that's what we want to do, right? That’s what we're actually preparing for. So stop looking at the limitation. Start looking at the progression upward, and the possibility of what you could prepare for and create.
