What It Takes To Be The Athlete You've Never Been Before

So understand that to be a different athlete, you literally have to create a different athlete. Like, I don't think the simplicity of that is communicated enough. I mean, we'll talk about training. We talk about exercise. All that's important.
But those are more of the day-to-day things. The overarching, overlying, like the overarching principle at the top is: you actually have to create a different athlete. You have to be a different person.
And so what does that mean? How do you actually be a different person? How do you actually be a different athlete? Not just like shuffle around at the same level, but actually take a step up, right? And it requires a level of effort, a level of willingness, a level of like— intention to actually change who you are, to do something that you've never done before. Right? Not to just go do the training, but to do something that you've never done before to become a person that you weren't before.
