What I Realized After Quitting Enough Times

What I Realized After Quitting Enough Times

July 22, 2025

There are going to be times when training is going to be hard, when you're not making any progress, when you think you're doing what you're supposed to be doing, but it's just not showing. There are going to be times when that pops up.

Coach says something that you didn't think he was going to say and puts you in a position that you didn't think you were going to be in or like, whatever it is, these difficult things that come up, right? And you're like, 'I don't know what the actual solution is.' There's going to be times when that happens. In those times when that happens, understand that if you stop and if you quit, as soon as you stop and as soon as you quit, the only thing to do again is to start.

Like literally, you quit and it's like, 'Okay, now what?' Right. If you still have that posture of that thing that you want to do, then you just simply have to restart again. So in those situations or in those time periods when it's like nothing is going right, just keep going in whatever way you possibly can, and eventually that will all shake out.

But just remember, you can quit, but as soon as you quit, all you're going to have to do is start again. So you might as well not quit, and you might as well just keep going, even if you just have no concept of how it could happen. Just keep moving forward and over a long enough period of time. Things will start to shake out.
