Training And Getting Chased By Tigers

So i dig a lot of the “how to move better” type crowd
Like this cross crawl move, training rotation, training gait, etc
What i don’t dig is the fact that it’s usually just not done with any intensity
Literally like it’s just Winnie the Poohing around talking about feels and oh yeah that’s good and yada yada
But i realized during my first set of these
How that doesn’t work
Like i was going slower in the exercise - not slow in terms of the speed of my acceleration into the impulse, but slow in the sense that I was thinking about how i wanted to move in between each rep
And then it clicked for me
That stuff doesn’t work. And it just felt so non stimulating and incorrect
Cause really, for us to say that training is effective, it’s gotta work when you’re getting chased by the real tiger in the jungle trying to run for ur got dang life
Maybe a little exaggerated
but i think you get the point
I don’t want to have to think about how i move. I want to feel it. Not think. But feel - DO
As an integrative whole
And there’s a big difference
Cause if what you’re doing does not allow you to just dive all the way in - spiritually, mentally and emotionally AS WELL AS physically
Then it’s just not going to transfer or be effective or stick for you

It was just funny cause I remembered “oh yeah i used to do this”
I used to over analyze over and over and over how i moved
Till i trained myself to be in position (physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally) to not have to do that
Which was a relief tbh lol
And look man it’s not like you ever get it permanently -gotta choose to do it every time
But it’s a thing, no doubt

I realize a lot of this may not make sense, hopefully some of it does (or not) but it’s what was flowing for me today
And yeah, if none of it makes sense, at least know it’s a sick rotation move to add to the mix
