Train To Handle The Demands Of Sprinting

So when you read the study about 4-5 times your bodyweight being on a single leg in a sprint

Instead of reacting with omg how stressful that is and how we need to manage workload

We can take the opposite approach and be look omg we need to prepare for that

Like actually

Cause the sprint doesn’t change dude

If you play a sport or participate in life that requires a sprinting

That’s not really a negotiable. You can’t cut it out unless you want to be out of a job or out of a sprint

So then

Opposite approach

Actually prepare for it. Period.

Get so strong on one leg the forces that it undergoes when sprinting ACTUALLY feel easy

Not as a thought

Not as an idea

But as an ACTUALITY

But guess what

That means your training gonna have to look different. Gonna have to be different.


Squats and deads - great pieces of a program - aren’t gonna cut it

See I’m not trying to workout - for myself or with our guys

I’m trying to actually PREPARE

So i don’t really care if something is conventional or unconventional 

Does it work?

And that’s the only test
