This Will Change You As An Athlete

As an athlete, one of the greatest assets you can have is to not be afraid of your body, to not have fear of how your body feels. To not be afraid of injuries, to not be afraid of little tweaks, but to actually understand what they are for you.
Because what that allows to happen is when you don't have fear of those things, they now don't become greater than they actually are. And you actually know and can understand how to control and how to handle them.
It doesn't mean that we artificially create this kind of persona of, "Oh, well, my body is perfect and I don't have fear of anything." But really, you actually do understand. It's not necessarily that you don't have fear; it's that you actually understand why those happen. You actually understand how to handle them.
And when we can create that actual understanding, the lack of fear just comes naturally because you actually understand, you know how it is that your body operates and you know what you need to do to prepare it and how to operate it.
