The Present Moment Has Motion

So basically you’re only able to change when you’re actually there

Like if you’re not there and present in the lift or in the session then the session isn’t really going to do anything in terms of change and progression

It’s just going to be something that you go in and do that’s hard or that’s difficult

And it’s a really interesting and fine line

Like sometimes I’ll find myself putting too much attention on the future and what i want with the future

And in doing that it’s like I’m never actually there in the lift or in the session at that time

And then thing is when part of your attention is not there and it’s gone somewhere else, then you will literally have less energy for the session

But if you can get to the point that you just like pick yourself up and bring yourself fully into the session then there’s this rush of energy and lightness

It’s why i talk to myself a lot when training here by myself

Cause it’s like that kick in the butt to oh yeah come here and actually be in this training session

There was actually one point during the lift when i had the thought “oh this is why there’s a million comments saying I’m on the spectrum”

But seriously - i think it could be possible that there is just so many people operating at such a level that’s below what they could be if they were fully present that an individual operating that’s fully present looks a little crazy

Like how the hell is there that much energy or what is happening here

I don’t know but that’s how i feel sometimes

Where it just like clicks and flows and it’s like wow I’m here

Ya know

Anyway - how’s this relate to physical performance and training

Easy dawg - if you ain’t present you’re not going to change. Like you’re literally not there to change, you’re stuck in some spot in the past or future

So wake up, pinch your lil cheeks and remember this right here the only thing you got

And that this stuff just repeats over and over

So stop worrying about the rest and just be
