The Physical, Emotional And Financial Cost Of Training

When I evaluate the cost of me not training, whether that's the cost of energy, the cost of my time, the cost of my attention, the cost of actual money, I need to look at what is the cost of me NOT doing that thing because that cost could be greater than the cost of me doing it.
What I mean by that is, if I don't do it, I'm going to need to spend money later on down the line.
It's going to take energy for me to move a body that hurts. It's going to take energy for me to rehab from an injury that I've had.
So the cost is not just what is the upfront cost to do it, but the cost is what happens if you don't do it. Usually what happens if you don't do it, is going to be much greater than what you have to put on up front to do it.
When you put money or time or energy or effort or attention it's all those things up front you're that are additional costs to staying ahead of your life or sport having to force you to do it on the back end.
