The Effort It Takes To Actually Get Better

It takes effort and it takes energy to move the needle

Doesn’t really matter what level you’re at either

There isn’t really a point where you get to and it’s just like ah, now we done

Nope

Gotta go back in, put in effort, maybe more than before, and double down so that it sticks

Is it dumb? Is it exhausting? Shouldn’t there be an end to it?

I guess it depends on what you want

Life is lived when you’re in it

Not when you’re looking back at it

Progress is made when it feels impossible

Not once you get to the top

Really something I’m digging into right now man

Cause it’s like what is that thing that grabs and pulls your forward

Cause it changes and evolves

And sometimes it’s not really a clear what that thing is

And i think in those times it simply takes pure physical motion

Just move, just do it, physically make progress

And all the other meaning and reasons and backings will come later

Side note here on what i see in training and rehab scenarios will be individuals that get themselves feeling to a certain point, let off the brakes, go “ahhh we did that and now we done” and then 3 months later put themselves in the same scenario they were at when they needed to start

There isn’t a finish line man

It’s all the time.
