Stay Ahead Of Fatigue
Share
Picture like there’s a flow of “firing” coming out of you and you want to be able to be behind this flow and send out as many little particles within that flow as possible per sec
WHILE not fatiguing yourself
So it’s like you’re sending out as many particles of firing per sec as you can, and you’re “staying above that” so that you can do that forever and never fatigue
And if that makes no sense…
Let’s take the bicep curl move for instance
When in that one, the intent is to have attention nowhere else. To keep the attention right there - nothing on last sec, last min, yesterday, work, other convos - all directed right there
And slightly ahead of it so when my arm gets to an end range I’m already reversing and going the other way so there is no lag time there - and it’s like not allowing the work that I’m doing to make me tired and heavy but rather staying ahead of that feeling
And that, for me, is developed really well in the slow lowers
Like i did 6 sets of 90 sec in the bottom of the deep pushup as a slow lowers in this session - and while yes i was pulling into position and being very specific about the positioning, it was even more paying attention to feeling in my chest - cause for me that’s what starts to get heavy when or if i start to fatigue
So by looking at that i can stay above that heavy feeling and literally just put myself in a position - physically, mentally, emotionally - all of it - where the press up at the end is easy and like i didn’t do anything before that. Or like the 90 sec i was in it actually made the press up easier because i was loading into it
And then take that into the other rapid rep moves i was doing - that exact same “position” of body, emotion, mental
Use training to train you to output faster + not have stress affect you, or have stress actually make you stronger as it loads you into position
