Should You Do Your Team’s Strength Program?

The reality of most college and professional strength training programs is that you may have to supplement them to actually get them to a point where they're actually going to prepare you. 

You know if you're just hitting your main lift for two or three sets of five or three and they're doing like four to five accessories with some like jogging and every accessory is just bent over cross crawl row with leg extension.

 if you know that it's not preparing you, then you may need to actually supplement and figure out how to do that. And so guys will do that multiple different ways. They'll do it like in the actual place where you're training with your team. They'll do it in gyms that are separate. They'll do it kind of like on their own time. 

Whatever it is that you have to do, but what it comes down to is you have to feel like you're actually doing what you need to do to prepare you for what you're going to ask yourself to do within that sport. If the team training center is not providing that, then there's more that you need to do to be able to get to that point.
