Pain Isn’t Permanent

You do not have to be afraid of a movement
And if there is a movement you are afraid of there is a very specific reason for that
There is something that happened or something you were told, or some combination of those two things - some type of experience - which caused you to be afraid of that movement
Like whatever it is
It could be back pain that caused some fear PLUS a diagnosis of a disc bulge which created even more fear
Or knee pain - which caused some fear - combined with homie online telling you the way you move causes knee pain - which caused more fear - combined with the commercial you saw about bro with knee arthritis - causing even more fear
It’s layers and layers of stuff that has piled up to get you to whatever point you’re at in regards to how you view pain and injury with your body
So I’m sitting here typing and i could imagine someone reading this who’s had 6 years of pain and reading this and feeling fairly antagonistic cause it sounds great but has no reality for them
And i get it
But look, just think…
IF - not that you HAVE TO - but IF you COULD actually prove to yourself that whatever info you have that tells you to be scared of your body is wrong
If you COULD prove that is wrong, and show you DON’T have to be scared of your body
Would you?

It’s a fairly simple, mechanical process. In the sense of it’s not just pure belief or something that is “way up there” and can’t be known
It just makes practical sense - fear comes from something that happened. If you do the actual physical action to no longer be afraid of that thing that happened, then you won’t be
Fairly straight forward
(Straight forward doesn’t always mean easy when you get into it - but the point is the math “works” - and the level of impossible that feels to you right now is just indicative of how much of that has piled up)
