Preparation is not a workout
The actual, real, physical goal of preparation, is to give you the ability to go do your version of performance - throw, hit, run, jump, compete
And not have it affect you
This is not said as an exaggeration or as something to inspire you
It’s said with the intention of simply being actually physically real
Again
To have you be able to go out and do your performance
And not have it affect you
To not get sore. To not get tired. To not get fatigued
As a REAL reality
Again - not as words
But as physical reality
I’m saying it so many times cause i think it just doesn’t hit and bounces off
Cause you’ve had so many experiences where your arm has hurt or hammy is sore or whatever
That it just isn’t real
So it’s like again dawg
The objective is to make your performance so easy it does not affect you
SO EASY IT DOES NOT AFFECT YOU
Not as a theory or idea - BUT AS A REALITY
Phew
So above we did 50 bench reps (10 not in the vid cause i didn’t get em on video)
And this IS NOT TO BUILD A BETTER BENCH - IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BENCH
It’s to recover from a high intensity and high volume activity
Period, that’s it.
That could be replaced with throwing. Could be replaced with jumping. With sprinting. Etc
Again - prepare YOU to recover from high intensity, high volume, activities
That’s it.
Don’t get distracted with all the rest
