Keep The Main Thing, The Main Thing

Keep The Main Thing, The Main Thing

Don’t lose sight of what the actual target is

See this a lot

You get hurt and go see homie who says your asymmetry caused it

Now instead of the rehab being the focus

Getting you symmetrical becomes the focus

You get symmetrical (kinda, but probably not really in any context that is intense enough to matter)

Yayyyyyy

But your body still hurts

Spent 6 months getting symmetrical

And didn’t handle the actual issue

See the same thing with posture

With breathing patterns

With hip alignment

With “glute activation”

All of these things or reasons that pull you off from what the actual goal is

See the goal for me is not any of those

The goal for me is to be able to do what i want when i want how i want

Period

Being symmetrical is not that.

having perfect posture is not that

Breathing drills are not that

Keep the target the target

The target is not ankle mobility

The target is not shoulder mobility

The target is not a program

The TARGET IS THE PERFORMANCE OF WHAT YOU WANT TO DO

Period, that’s it. Don’t get pulled off by a bunch of ideas created from someone who’s spent too many years in research papers and theory with no real world

Like yeah dude i know your paper says asymmetry matters

Ever seen an actual real life person tho???

If it does, we kinda screwed
