If Your Injury Won't Go Away.

So the goal with any rehab of any major surgery or injury, and I mean this quite literally, not as just something to be said, but something that has to literally be experienced and done. is to forget or not remember or not care or not have considerations. around the fact that you had the surgery, right? And take this quite literally.
Like if you had a surgery a year and a half ago or you had an injury two years ago and you still think about it, like it still pops up in your head and you still have to figure it, like you still have to consider, okay, how does it feel today? How's it feeling this morning when I woke up, et cetera. If that's the situation or position that you're in, understand that that injury or surgery hasn't been truly rehabbed.
Like there is a reality, right? There is a reality in which you could have an injury. You could rehab that thing fully and you could get to the point where you don't, you wake up on Monday, you wake up on Tuesday, you wake up on Wednesday, you wake up on Thursday, and you have no thought about it.
Or you have an injury or a surgery with your elbow or your shoulder. And you go to throw on Monday. You go to throw on Tuesday. You go to throw on Wednesday.
You go to throw on Thursday. And you quite literally don't think about it, don't have to feel it out. That's a reality. You just have to put yourself through the work and in the position where your body can actually understand— I don't have to think about that anymore. I don't have to direct your attention to it anymore.
