How We Handle Tweaks And Asymmetries

So many small tweaks and nuances and quote-unquote imbalances or asymmetries or whatever it is that we want to call these kinds of little things that pop up - most of the time these are there simply because you have not trained hard enough doing the correct things long enough.
This isn't meant to be just like a blanket statement where you go: “Oh well, you just need to do that thing and everything will be fixed.” That's not right, because there can be a point where when you do that there are still these things that pop up that have to be more specifically addressed.
My point is if you're training three to four times a week and you miss a couple of sessions every week and you're not eating the way that you know you need to eat, you begin to accumulate these little things that are actually harming you instead of helping your progression.
Then you start to make indirect or incorrect assessments like, “Oh well the problem is that I need to do a different exercise.”
The problem is not that you need to do a different exercise; the problem is that you, as a baseline, need to do those things that you know you need to do. You need to train, you need to eat, and you sleep well. You need to address your thoughts, you need to address how you view the world, and how you view yourself. You need to address these very baseline, foundational things and then once those are addressed, you can focus on the specific things that DO matter… but only matter because you have your foundation in place.
