How Training Supports Skill Work

How Training Supports Skill Work

The objective of physical preparation is not to get you better at your sport

It’s to train your physiology to be able to display every ounce of what it has the ability to display

For example

Let’s say you cannot access your scap in full

Like purely, base level - you can’t actually get into the contractile tissue that moves your scap

There is quite literally zero connection between your brain and the tissue that operates that area

If that’s the case, there’s no shot you’re going to be able to access that when you’re in your sport. So you could drill “x” over and over and over

And your coach could be like “dawg, you gotsta get into that scap” and tell you 1000 times

But if you actually do not have any connection to that area there is no way you’re going to be able to, on purpose, repeatedly do that

So that’s where what we do comes in

Give you access to your scap. Give you access to your hip. Give you access to your spine. Your tib, your ankle, your whatever

Like every area you have and could use

The objective is to give you access to those SO THAT when you DO go into your sport, you CAN, if you want, ACCESS that tissue

It’s not about one being better than the other here guys

It’s about having BOTH. Having ALL of it

Like your physical prep AND your skill work should be as good as possible

So you can marry em together for optimal beastliness

Doing anything else don’t make no sense ya feel
