Before it really matters what you do there has to be enough oomph behind what you do to make what you do matter
Practically speaking
If you never learn how to put more effort into your training or into what you do
Then there is no more oomph behind you to actually cause a greater degree of change
But lets try to keep this actual and real, right
We can take a slow lower deep pushup as an example
At the start they’re going to be difficult, no doubt
But as you do them more and more, over and over, the actual physical limitations become less and less
And at some point it simply comes down to you making a decision, right then and there in the moment
While you’re in the bottom of it, while it’s incredibly hard, while you want to stop, while your muscles are burning or shaking or whatever
Make a decision right then and there to simply keep going
To pull more “oomph” out of yourself
It really has nothing to do the physicality once you’ve been doing them for a decent amount of time. I don’t know, 6-12 months. Like if we’ve been on em for that amount of time and the 3 min or 5 min mark hasn’t been hit yet, then that’s where the barrier is
Is just the actual doingness of making the hard choice, right then and there while in it, to be different
So anyway that concept can relate to training as a whole. To progress as a whole
