Feel like a lot of dudes dealing with stacked up injuries have just forgotten what it’s like to actually win
Where it’s like you’ve tried so many times to fix the same problem, and failed, that you feel like the effort you put in doesn’t actually do anything for you anymore
Which I completely get
It’s like 2 years or 4 years or 6 years or whatever its been
That much time working on the same problem
Having the prospect of getting better each time you start something new, only to find 3 months later it’s the same thing as the last one was
Like yeah, who isn’t going to get fatigued and tired and just be like screw this if that is the scenario
So fully acknowledge that - like yeah, it sucks, it’s brutal, it’s hard and it probably eats away at you and is difficult to actually look at
Fully get that
And then….
Great: what do you do now?
I refuse to believe that there is not a solution to every problem if all the necessary data is known AND if you have the tools to apply that actually work
In the rehab space i think the reason things don’t work is because the base, underlying principle that most work with in that field does not actually work
Cause the base underlying principle is really hard
Putting yourself through MORE than an injury was… is not easy
It’s going to bring up emotion, it’s going to bring up feeling, it’s going to bring up sensation
It’s not 15 min of squeegee squeezes and 5 sec external rotation isos
Like it’s just not
So maybe, just maybe - if you have not yet been able to solve your problem
It’s just cause you aren’t working with a solution that actually works
I dunno
But i do know the stuff i did above was not easy lmao. Impulses for time paired with long breath cadence is not a recipe for comfort 😂
