It’s really amazing how perfect the system is designed
It cannot be wrong

You will not be able to physically perform that which you are unwilling to emotionally confront
For example
If you had some big dream in your life that you did not achieve
And you are not willing to confront - AKA experience - the actual emotions associated with that failure
You’re not gonna be able to dig as deep in ANYTHING
Cause as soon as you hit that given level of discomfort - that thing you are unwilling to confront will come right up
Like it’ll literally have nothing to do with what you’re actually doing
You could be doing the BB torso holds above - discomfort hits that requires more of your awareness and engagement to stay in and keep pulling - and you just won’t go there
Cuz it’s like it takes a certain amount of effort for you to do “the thing” (the BB torso thing for example)
And that level of effort necessitates you emotionally engage to a certain degree
And if a portion of emotional depth is capped via the failure
Then forget accessing that elsewhere too

So what’s the point
Confront the things that you don’t want to confront. Be willing to look at it. LOOK AT IT
Your failures. Your mistakes. Your mess ups. Your losses. Be willing to EXPERIENCE that which is associated with those
Otherwise you be capped, no lie

It’s fundamental. Like the reason most training doesn’t work is it doesn’t address this issue and makes it all about the exercise and sets and reps
All that is layered on top of what you’re willing to confront
Starts with you, not the exercise.
