One thing to take into consideration if you've been hurt for multiple years, when you've had elbow pain or you've had shoulder pain. When you're in the process of rehabbing back, if you have a period of time where maybe before that things were feeling good, let's say initially for the first two or three weeks things were feeling really good, but then you have a period of three to five days where something from the past returns again, that doesn't mean that you're progress has completely halted. It doesn't mean that you're starting from square one, right?

It means that you asked yourself to do something that you weren't quite prepared to do. That doesn't mean that it sets you all the way back.

So remember, if you've had that pain, or if you've had that issue for multiple years or for a long period of time, it can take a little bit longer to actually get you fully past that sticking point, and that's absolutely okay! 

The only time that it doesn't work is if you stop.
