The question of being prepared really doesn't come down to what it is that you're doing. It comes down to the decision that you make beforehand. It's that decision between: “Am I going to continue to not really know? Am I going to continue to have to worry and have anxiety? Am I going to continue to just put enough in to kind of get by?”
“Is that what I'm going to do? Or am I going to actually make a decision to get myself to the point where I'm prepared, and I know without a doubt that I'm going to accomplish this goal that I set for myself?”
So that's what it comes down to: it's a decision. How long, how much longer do you need to be sick and tired of not knowing what It is that you're doing wrong and of how unprepared you feel?
How much longer do you need to be sick and tired of that before you actually make a decision to change for the better and be like, “you know what, it doesn't matter what gets in the way; I'm going to actually put myself in a position where I know that I'm ready to do what I've set out to accomplish and I'm not going to stop until I've done exactly that.
That's where the power comes from, it's the decision that comes before all else.
