Don’t actually train hard enough in the first place to get anywhere close to where you want to go

Like you’re not actually training

You’re not actually pushing what you do hard enough to create some resistance in yourself that is really hard to get over or to get past

You’re too worried about who text you, whether you’re going to play or not, if you’ll get enough sleep, what your whoop score is, and how bad of a situation you come from

Remember what it was you said you wanted man

Remember what that was 

STOP GIVING REASONS FOR WHY YOU CAN’T BE THAT

Dude to just sit there in discomfort when things are burning and when things don’t feel perfect and when you’re facing resistance

That is when the growth happens man

And that’s what I’m saying

THAT is what training is

You train YOURSELF to be able to handle that. You train YOURSELF to be able to be in that

And then you can take YOURSELF and apply that into whatever it is you want to do

Stare down the dude in the box knowing there’s no way he’s done what you’ve done

Knock the dude out in the ring 30 sec after it’s started

Like whatever man

But train YOURSELF

Because you are what you take into whatever it is that you do.
