3 things that will make you quit:
1 ) Your target isn’t big enough to significantly change your life.
2 ) Other people’s considerations pulling you back down.
3 ) Underestimating the effort it’s going to take to get there.
Target being big enough:
If what you’re going for does not significantly change your life then there will be no point in continuing when things get difficult. It will not matter to you because even if it’s gotten you will still essentially be in the same place. Like if you could throw 103 or run a 4.2, that changes things. But if it’s throw 86 or run a 4.7, that doesn’t.

Other people’s considerations:
When you’re taking more action and doing more than the other person that person will question why you’re doing what you’re doing because THEY aren’t doing as much as THEY could be doing. Things like “you’re doing too much”, “take it easy”, “what happens if it doesn’t work” - these are questions they have for themselves that have NOTHING to do with you. But KNOW that these will come and be prepared for them, otherwise you’ll fall victim to them

Underestimating the effort:
Know beforehand it’s going to be way harder than you thought. If you thought you were going to have to do it for 3 months it’s going to take 3 years. If you thought there would be a couple bumps, there’s going to be a couple mountains. If you thought 1 plan would work, you’re going to need 100. It will ALWAYS take more effort than you think. So get ready now.
