2 Keys To Getting Faster

2 Keys To Getting Faster

September 10, 2025

A real practical piece here: if you want to sprint fast, the two areas that I found to be most important are hamstrings and hip flexors. It does not mean that they are more important than everything else, but they absolutely need to be developed.

Specifically with the hip flexors, those are an area that I don't find are hit often enough. And it starts with myself. When I actually started to train my hip flexors, I noticed how much easier sprinting was.

When I started to train my hamstrings for real — like actually get really good at hamstring work, whether it's being able to do a full Nordic from the ground or, with the hip flexors, being able to do, you know, 50 to 300 impulses for the hip flexor impulse. And that's just one exercise, right?

But being able to actually train those hard, not just doing squats and deadlifts, but actually training those areas hard, that's really when I saw the speed start to take off.
